our story

Cifman Institute of Technology and Management was established as a Vocational Enterprise Institution (VEIS) and Innovation Enterprise Institution (IEIS) in Lagos State. The enrollment of its first batch of students was in December 2011. And since then, other batches of students has been enrolled and presently we are taking in new students in January, 2018. The Institution has been offering many programmes covering – Computer Software, Hardware technology, System security & Networking and Digital Multimedia.

The market for this programmes is the country at larger and Lagos State catchments areas in particular. The management teams are made up of the Rector, Registrar, Bursar, Librarian and HODs etc. while the academic and the training process involves lecturing and teaching, examination, continuous assessment, oral and written evaluation, grading, test, Industrial work experience scheme, practical work and on-the job training etc.


Our Mission and Philosophy

The mission of the Institute is the provision of high quality training hands – on experience with the purpose of developing sustainable skills in diverse areas of Technology and Engineering and other industrial needs.


The aim is to achieve the following:

  • Develop and energize our trainees to develop their potentials to the fullest extent. In so doing, they will infuse the economy with creativity and energy while attaining professional fulfillment.
  • Nurture entrepreneurial acumen in the trainees
  • Develop a new mindset towards self employment in our graduants.
  • Serve as an incubator for trainees and our neighborhood.
  • Build a long term stakeholder value and maximize stakeholder returns

Partnering with our Trainees and the Stakeholders in the sense that the success of our graduants and trainees will enable our stakeholders to prosper along with us; hence the mutual relationship will form the basis for long lasting partnership.
